Understanding Principal Components
TXA (Tranexamic Acid)
Tranexamic acid (TXA) has been used as a hemostatic agent. After a paper on melasma treatment was published at the American Academy of Dermatology in 2016, it was declared “GAME CHANGER” in the American Dermatological Society in 2018. It is used in the treatment of spots or PIH (hyperpigmentation after inflammation) to maximize the effect of laser treatment.
Mechanism of skin effect of tranexamic acid
1, inhibits the activity of “a-MSH”, a hormone that promotes the activity of melanocytes.
2. In melanocytes, melanin production is reduced by inhibiting “MITF”, a transcription factor for producing melanin pigments.
3. By increasing the secretion of b-endorphin from the pineal gland, it synthesizes collagen by increasing the proliferation of “Fibroblast” fibroblasts in the skin.
NIACINAMIDE(Vit B3)
Skin Mechanism of niacianamide
1. It collects melanin pigment synthesized from melanocytes and blocks the transfer of “Melanosome”, a rice paddy, to keratinocytes by 35%~68%.
2. It synthesizes collagen by promoting “m-RNA transcription” that synthesizes collagen in the dermal layer.
3. It promotes the proliferation of keratinocytes by activating “mKGF”. It is accompanied by effects such as reducing pores, suppressing sebum excretion, and relieving acne.
Reduced GLUTATHIONE (aka Baekok Injection)
1. In the process of synthesizing melanin in melanocytes, it synthesizes “Pheomelanin”, which is a pink (middle of red and yellow) melanin pigment instead of black melanin pigment.
2. It is difficult to pass through the cell membrane, but once it passes, it becomes the center of strong antioxidant by “continuously recycling hydrogen”.
3. It can increase the intensity of tumor treatment by combining it with lead, which is the main cause of cosmetic poison, and protecting normal cells during chemotherapy.
The sulfur odor of our whitening solution is mainly due to reduced glutathione.
ARBUTIN
As a component similar to hydroquinone that inhibits tyrosinase, an enzyme that synthesizes melanin pigment found in Bearberry, it is a powerful inhibitor of melanin pigment synthesis, but its stability is low. Care should be taken for the occurrence of leukoplakia.
Licorice extract
By inhibiting the activities of DOPAchrome Tautomerase and Tyrosinase, which are major enzymes that synthesize melanin pigment in melanocytes, it has the effect of inhibiting melanin synthesis and also removing melanin pigment. In addition, it is rich in vitamins A and B, as well as vitamin C, and its glucose and fructose components make the skin more moist and smooth.
With this action, it is effective not only for skin whitening, but also for acne, dermatitis, eczema, heat rash, and soothing skin. It is also used as an antioxidant and skin moisturizer.
Licorice extract
Catechine, which is contained in green tea, inhibits the activity of tyrosinase, thereby inhibiting the synthesis of melanin pigment. Green tea contains polyphenols epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), epicatechin gallate, epicatechinse, and other catechins in the highest concentration.
